The end component pendants are usually sold as sets.  The smaller sizes create a balanced look when worn as part of a three, five, or seven piece set.  They have a 5mm round opening.  The larger sizes will accomodate a much larger chain, up to a 6mm gold omega.  The larger sizes are usually sold with the seven piece necklaces.
